Early settlers originally called the settlement along the Skagit “Minnehaha. Later two separate towns sprang up called Baker and Cement City. The city of Concrete was formed in the early 1900s and merged the two towns. Concrete sits along Highway 20 and enjoys some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. Camping, hunting, fishing, and hiking are just the highlights of the many outdoor activities available just a short hop away. Concrete has become the home to a wonderful gluten-free bakery (5-Bs Bakery) and one of Skagit Counties favorite Pizza Places (Annie's)
